This All-Suite, boutique style hotel offers various room styles, such as deluxe king, grand corner king, premier king, premier double and honeymoon suites. Each suite includes a sitting area, bar area with sink and compact refrigerator, a flat panel television, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and complimentary Wireless Internet access , along with a private business center. This hotel features a full service restaurant and lounge, room service, valet parking, a small fitness center, and complimentary morning coffee and newspaper each day in the hotel lobby.

How long have you been in business?
The current ownership group bought the Eldridge Hotel, which has been in business for eight years. The hotel was founded in 1855 by a group of settlers, and lived through multiple attacks and closings only to be rebuilt again!
What is your primary product or service?
The 48 room, all-suite property features a full service restaurant and lounge, exquisite banquet space, room service and valet parking.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started my career in the 1970’s when the Lawrence Holidome opened. I worked in sales for 7 years and then became the General Manager in 1984 after a major renovation. I then left the business to start a family and came back to the Eldridge in 2005 when a group bought the Eldridge at a bankruptcy sale. We opened The Oread 5 years later and then I became the Manager of both The Eldridge and The Oread Hotels.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Occupying the "most historic corner in Kansas," The Eldridge is truly the place where history and hospitality converge. Our staff, restaurants, hotel services, guest sleeping rooms, and meeting rooms make us one of the finest hotels in the region.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The Eldridge Hotel is part of The Olivia Collection, which also manages The Eldridge Extended and The Oread Hotel. The Olivia Collection is a locally owned management company for the three properties, offering the finest in Lawrence hospitality. At the moment, we do not have plans to expand.
